Getting newsletter subscribers
Booksweeps – https://www.booksweeps.com/join-a-promo?aff=602048ba – Booksweeps offers group promo contests. You can offer a copy of you book as a prize. If you’re exclusive to KU, you can gift the book to them without breaking TOS. This is great if you don’t have a lead magnet.
Bookfunnel – https://authors.bookfunnel.com/ – They deliver books when you sell direct, give out comp eBooks, and included in your subscription is the ability to create your own and join list-building and sales promos. You’ll need a book that isn’t in KU. You can also use a “sample” for some list-building promos but they are not as popular.
Written Word Media – https://www.writtenwordmedia.com/subscriber-surge-giveaways/ – known for Free Booksy and Bargain Booksy, they now also do giveaways to help get subscribers. They even deliver the book for you. No worries about being in KU (Kindle Unlimited)

For formatting
Vellum – https://store.vellum.pub?via=christine27 – Easy to use and a great way to import. I’ve used them for years.
Outsource to Edie – https://outsourcetoedie.com/ My sister’s website. If you can’t afford Vellum or don’t have a Mac, you can have her do it for you. You’ll even get the original vellum file, so you if you later get Vellum you can change the backmatter later. She does updates as well. So just send the file back to her. She does all kinds of author assistant work. She does all of my stuff.
For Direct sales
Thrivecart – https://christymurphy–checkout.thrivecart.com/thrivecart-standard-account/ – There’s only a one-time fee for the software, so it’s cheaper than some subscriptions—especially if you take a while to build sales.
For MailingList
Mailerlite https://www.mailerlite.com/a/QWwfIkdCyc5v – I use this service so I can automate my mailing lists. It integrates directly with Facebook and Thrivecart
